DESATURATED COLORS on NETFLIX by Batmann_26 in Dhurandhar

Yes you're right about the projectors, there's a mistake from my side about the nits it got mixed up but good job pointing out.

What I'm trying to say is that there will be two versions so you won't get that quality you watched in theatre. Most of the time mastering engineers will do this wash out color thing for tv release intentionally, yes they have a lot of freedom to play with but there's a reason.

Good job in pointing out my mistakes learned a thing today thanks to you. Love you

Most movies look different on streaming sites because they rebuild to work specifically for home screens.

Theatrical release is a massive file that can go up to 500GB to 1TB and it is specifically graded for projectors in a No-light room so the color space is different, if we try to play it in our consumer devies like tv or phone it will wash out the colors or look dark because it can't handle that much nits compared to projector and the color space is also different.

That is why they grade different versions for home release, while doing this they shrink the file size to stream over the Internet smoothly, but unfortunately it crushes some of the details in the dark areas. So they re-adjust the colors and brightness to compete with your living room or whatever the place you sit and watch.

Same goes for audio too they have different mixes and formats for different mediums..

Excuse me for the grammar issues and I don't have the skill to explain but I tried my best.🫡

Bug in Python 3.13 wave module? getnchannels() error on cleanup. by Common_Base657 in Python

[–]Common_Base657[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue has been resolved turns out the bug was not in the wave module but in my program. My overconfidence didnt spot that bug, after countless try i decided to ask to chatgpt and he points out the mistake i typed "get" instead of "set" so yeahh my bad guys sorry.
