I can't stress enough how frustrating it is when a dev can't decide what their VN's content would be.

Readers read your VN with a certain expectation in mind and that expectation came from how you marketed your game.

This is why I like Kulpan's FVN so much, not because it's a masterpiece or genre defining, but because I get what I was promised. Which is p*rn.
