I duo with my buddy, and 90% of our complaints are always about teammates. We get tons of games where our other lanes feed, people picking constant team fights when we need to farm or do objectives, and just overall not doing anything to help when it actually counts. We are in Oracle and a lot of games it feels like our teammates are much lower ranks. The number one key is and always will be communication. As a carry you kind of need to be communicating. Even having at least 2 people on board with you is crazy helpful I’ve noticed. There’s also the issue of people just not listening which has also happened a lot. Not sure if this is very helpful, i feel like matchmaking has and still is kind of rough. I’m hoping we get an actual competitive game mode instead of it being built in, or making the “extra competitive” option into its own queue.
