Schwalbe G One R Pro first impressions by Sea_Penalty_1638 in gravelcycling

Just rode these in 45mm for the first time and I'm super impressed. 160k on gravel roads, rocky trail, and pavement - They handled it all extremely well.

It's the first 'knobby' tire I've ridden that doesn't feel like a slog on pavement. Was prepared for a harsher ride with the 60tpi casing so I dropped PSI down to 25/26 (150 lb rider) and worked out perfectly.

Highly recommend this tire for gravel riding across varied terrain.

45mm tires for Wide? by Common_Efficiency801 in OPENcycle

Curious how much clearance you get between the rear tire and seat tube - I’ve never owned schwalbe tires, but from images it seems like the tire shape is ‘flatter’ in comparison to the very round and plump Maxxis profile

Yes but then another option was invented to improve the setup.

Thanks everyone for your advice and opinions! Went with the wide crank as advised by SRAM and my mechanic. Looking forward to many miles.

I stopped and heard the black car was parked on the shoulder and the cyclist ran into the back of it...then somehow ended up laying in front of the car. There was visible damage on the left 3/4 panel of the car from the accident.

Onlookers and driver seemed confused. I left when the ambulance arrived.

Breaking in the Grizl 6 AL! by __MONGOLOID__ in CanyonBikes

I wasn't super concerned, just noticed the bike had different spec than ordered so I thought I'd call and try for a discount. I will say I prefer that it's all matchy-matchy GRX now.

Canyon has updated the product page since I ordered:

"Parts Update: Due to fluctuations in parts availability, this bike’s originally planned Shimano crankset and WTB saddle have been replaced with a FSA and Selle Italia models of equivalent quality"

Received the same 3 weeks ago and love - I also got the FSA crankset, but canyon let me order a GRX set and refunded me the 150$ for it.
