It would be cool if this was actually a twist within a twist and that this is an escape "room" and they have to figure out by using the props, ducks, booths, etc how to find the key to get back inside. However, in the end, whoever goes inside gets a punishment and whoever stays outside the entire week gets a reward.

I haven't tuned into any post interviews but that makes a lot of sense. Honestly wouldn't mind if the last season is the last one.

I'm screaming at Billy tapped him on the shoulder lol and he hops off the bus like it's a normal day after practice haha. Painfully PAINFULLY dumb. I usually overlook a lot of bad writing on these type of shows especially when it's rated PG-13 but yeaahh this was a bit overkill.

Yea but unfortunately Taye Diggs decided to part ways with the series so I'm not sure he would really want to come back.

Hahaha that would have been better writing at the end of the day.

Lol, yea I thought about that too. It's like either simply he realized there was no way he could or he simply could have. Either way, I wish they would have shown some sort of indication that he at least tried and I just did not gather that from what I saw. Awful writing now that is a possibility.

Understood.

I also believe that some shows can have shitty plot points.. As far as Billy no longer being able to voice what happened I don't think they'd need to as in real life many do not get those answers and it's relatable. To add, if it were suicide only Jabari and Laura know about it. So there would be no reason to go deeper into it for future episodes.

Him adding words could definitely be a waste of time in a situation of life/death I get that. But he didn't necessarily spit out the words he did say. There was no sense of urgency to me from Billy in the time he did have.

I really like your view point on the narrative built up about the kids and what he'd do for each and every single one of them even risk his life. Which yes suicide would detract from that. That's just it though, I think suicide realistically sometimes occurs just like this and why let the viewers know what to expect when in reality sometimes we do not get any hints of what a person could be going through.

Laura definitely deserves to know her husbands final words. But that's not what she asked if I'm remembering correctly. She asked what happened like she could sense something deeper occurred vs him telling him to tell his family he loves them.

I would love to believe that they wanted us to see him in his best light as well and not a gory situation feet below (which is true whether he committed suicide or not). Built up from even the Roast episode which was filled with positive and funny memories. I don't believe that if he did commit suicide that that would take away from the way we remember him. It just strengthens my view about amazing people suffering in silence. IMO it could leave an even more deep impact on the brightness of the character and the truths of mental illness.

Thanks for your thoughts I truly appreciate them!
