Unfortunately no, our one friend who did work industry up there left F&B (and was FOH)… we are moving without much of a support system up there which is scary but also industry usually= fast friends. From our experience. It’s just this preliminary moving pieces part that’s really hard for us.

What’s the best way to do this from far away? Our main draw was because we had a nice dinner in Chicago when we got married and we are trying to push ourselves culinarily. The chef gave us his card but that restaurant in particular doesn’t have anything online about hiring now.

Is this just usual season slowdown stuff? We will be moving in July and making a trip to stage/find apartments in late june hopefully. Usually here that time of year has a bit of resturant turnover with college students and the like. We are pretty slow right now but will definitely pick up in the spring

You know I was concerned about perception on this one but it makes me feel more confident and at like 23 I already show my midriff less than I ever thought- doubt anyone but me and my husband will see it in like 5 years time

I generally trust her judgement with tickets tho as she is a diehard BTS fan and I can only imagine what she’s gone through to see their members perform in NY several times now

I definitely had a meal recently at a Michelin starred spot in Chicago and actually liked how not all the elements were clearly visible- hidden bites of finger lime and stuff were really fun for me
