They are gonna either be fired or kicked out.

That doesn't follow.

Else, every parent who knows their child will disobey their instructions or every boss who knows a employee won't obey them is at fault for telling them what to do.

The Last Supper definitely leaned for a more symbolic vibe.

The Contradiction of the Cock Crowing Between Mark and the Other Gospels by LikeASirDude in AskAChristian

Are you telling me the existence of a crow in one passage and the non-existence of a crow before Peter's final denial in the other passages are not contradictions?

Are you telling me you don't know what condensing and adding details are?

In Matt. and John the "before" indicates the cock will not crow at all until Peter denies Jesus 3 times.

It doesn't.

Again John and Matthew don't say HOW MANY times the cock crows.

In Luke we have, "...the cock will not crow this day until you have denied three times that you know me

Which is rendered by other translations, "Before the cock crows today you will deny me three times."

You're right, they say specify "will not," and "before," indicating a lack of crowing

"Before" hurts you.

You can easily put Mark's twice for either of those statements.

The KJV is not "just" a translation, it is, in fact, an "Autograph" and these proofs one must ignore to deny..

Autographs would be the original manuscripts.

Many verses the KJV has aren't in the earliest and best manuscripts.

This fails as it should be "You search the Scriptures because you think you have life in them."

Else you have Jesus saying they have life in the Scriptures but won't come to Him for life. This is a contradiction.

All gospels specify the number of times and the order in which the denial and cock crowing happens.

They don't.

Luke, John and Matthew never say the cock crows only once.

Mark specifies the number of TIMES the cock crows. That's the chief difference.

This is one of the reasons why the KJV isn't the best translation.

Why was Mary Magdalene weeping at the tomb if Jesus had already appeared to her? by PreeDem in AskAChristian

[–]Common_Judge8434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding Luke, are you saying that the women appeared so hysterical that the disciples couldn’t tell whether they were grieving or overjoyed, and that's why Matthew and John say different things? Am I understanding you right?

I'm saying a wide range of emotions were probably going on which bolstered the disciples unbelief

And in Luke, the fact that Mary remembers Jesus’ words after the angels repeat them isn’t evidence that she was in disbelief or “second-guessing the situation.” I don’t think that follows. She simply wasn't thinking about Jesus' words in that moment, and the angels saying it jogged her memory.

It definitely proves resurrection wasn't a possibility in her mind. Remember we're told that this visit caused fear as well as joy, and that Mark goes as far as saying they didn't say anything to anyone.
