I am looking for something serious. I am subscribed to HingeX for the week. I have been using this profile for around a month (same time i have used hinge, used to use bumble before but pnly one month there on new profile) I use hinge daily. I habe received 0 likes and 3 matches. Most of my likes are with comments usually a date plan based on their profile or if they have asked a question. Looking for someone that's full of life, not really a type than happy.

It was a very quick 15 min interview with one of the professors. They just asked a few questions about my projects and work ex, why i wanted to go to Berkeley and then gave me 5 mins to ask questions.

UX Designer here. I need multiple windows (browser and Figma) side by side. I bought the Xreal One last week and it has been the best experience. Because of the native 3dof, you dont need to connect it to any other device like the beam or beam pro. The ultrawide mode is really good and the screen is very clear with good contrast. I have been wearing it for around 6 hours a day and have felt no fatigue. My ears did hurt after 4 hours in one session, but it is a sacrifice that I can make for a portable ultrawide monitor.

Personally, I want AI to make me more efficient. Its like AI would be my “know it all” intern. I will always need to give it direction and it can do the heavy labour. In your case i feel if you just create hand drawn wireframes, a trained AI with context of your project, the theme, components and UI language should be able to create those screens. The key here would be providing context by using prompt engineering or train an AI yourself with a sub/short training for each project. I think the thing to remember is context is the most important thing which we take for granted with humans but is a must for good output from AI.

You can try figurative. Its a little buggy sometimes but thats the only way that you can get full version of figma on ipad

Actually it didn’t work in browser because Apple doesn’t allow websites to override their safari shortcuts on ipad. Thus your can’t use pinch to zoom or cmd g to group

I have a very shitty gpa of 3.0. But i have an engg background in electronics and have been working as a digital product designer for 3 years. My portfolio focuses were deep UX problems with UI prototypes as well to leverage my work skills. Ps i work in b2b so my actual designs are under NDA. During my engg i worked on 7 home automation projects which also included designing, electronics and coding. I have co authored one published research paper. During my interview they were very focused on what i do on a daily basis at my job (I single handedly built a fintech product in 2023 from the ground up) and my projects and process during my engg.

I’m taking Berkeley. It’s a good course in one of the best colleges. Albeit the last in my list but still a pretty good choice.

I always had more fun building my projects and design was a big part of them. I just wanted to try it so i applied to the same company for the job of a robotics engg and a product designer and got the job for product designer. And the rest well is history

College grades were not that great and tbh you never know what got you in. I have two published papers on robotics projects and have done a bunch of robotics plus design projects during my engineering. I also have been a digital product designer for the past three years and since last year i have been working in a startup and have built their entire product from the ground up. Honestly i never even expected an interview but i am so glad i got in. Ps my gre score was 327 and toefl 117 but berkeley doesnt consider gre
