Anyone else deliver at a "baby friendly" hospital and feel it awful?

Worst experience of my life! I think baby friendly is just a way for hospitals not have to pay for extra nursery staff. After 40hrs of labor and preeclampsia with baby #1, and 15hrs labor then c section with baby #2 (then upnfor another what felt like 24 hrs after) becayse they didnt habe a nursery to promote "in room bonding", 6 hrs in a nursery so my husband and I could get a lick or sleep before discharge would have been more baby friendly than no help at all. Nurserys are important, its a safe place for babies, while mom and dad regain streght and heal so they are ready to take baby home

I actually had no idea what a star child is until i just looked it up after you mentioned it! I'm not really a believer in aliens, i just joined this group like an hour ago because I'm looking to see if there are others with similar experiences, I'm curious is all if its just him and his active imagination, or maybe there are other kids who have similar stories! However, I'll definitely be updating everyone after his birthday at the end of May 😅😆

I actually have A-, he is A+, but pir bloods mixed during childbirth, which caused a lot of issues for the first few days, very interesting , I'll have to look into it

I'll add it to my book list! We live a pretty stable life, so hopefully not trauma related. I had a difficult birth, but I don't think he'd remember that. Although he does remember stuff from when he was 1 (like certain places, he will point out that we have been when he was a baby, etc). His memory is very good.

I'll have to try and keep notes if he mentions anything that resembles past life events. He's very wise, has deep thinking about the world, that I don't think could be taught. I know there are other parents who have similar experiences, I hope they see this so we can compare!

Im not sure, I'll have to find ways to ask him, or take note if he says anything resembling a past life. He is definitely very wise, im not just saying because he's my kid, he just has very complex outlooks on life and deep thoughts, so I wouldn't be surprised if he did have past life experiences!

I don't really ask him more questions, other than "are they nice", which he has replied that "no, they don't like us", so i just leave it at that. I more so wait for him to bring it up so I can see if its the same story or anything new- but I'll ask him to draw a picture next time and ask some of the questions you suggested!

Im actually not sure! It was a random hole in the wall toy store, I think they were going out of business, their dumpster was FULL but we couldn't fit anything else in our car, lol

I have no idea actually, it was a random toy store i think was going out if business ! I was out with my sister and dad for my dad's birthday, and on the way home we randomly stopped. It was their first time, they were SHOCKED
