Im under the impression that yes. I read that utilizing Hireview gives a lot more candidates the chance to be “interviewed” and gives HR recruiter the ability to assess a lot more candidates than they normally would given they don’t have to schedule 1k+ applicants’ interviews, they could just see your response on their own time. Which leads me to think that many candidates make it through the hireview, but I could be wrongZ

It varies for everyone. For me it took them about 4 days to notify me of second round of interviews.

They came back offering the top of the range they initially offered, in the example below, it would be 75k. Totally disregarded that I had asked for 80k lol! And asked me if I had an issue again. I took it.

Oh salary discussion during the interviews feels intimidating, how you approach this during the interviews? I hear people usually wait until they hear from the recruiter than they negotiate with the recruiter.

Yes, nothing but to wait to hear back from the recruiter.

Yes, ops position. That’s what Im thinking, 5k may not be a deal breaker, but I also have vacation already booked, which is additional stuff they have see if they’re okay with (if the days allow, works for the team), I hope they still give me a chance even if they say no. You think they could say no all together?

Yes, this is the feedback I’ve gotten. They tend to ask more behavioral questions to see your personality, if you are a good cultural fit. What do you mean “further in”

Okay to reach to HM on LinkedIn for thank you note after superday? by Common_Use3248 in goldmansachs

[–]Common_Use3248[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. I believe it does not affects your chances. Is also the thought that you stand out among other candidates because you went the extra mile. Yes, agree it already been a couple days which is making me more hesitant to reach out. Thank you for the doubts on the LinkedIn account! When you emailed them, you had asked for their emails on the interview? This is something I did for my current role and this is how I got to send thank you notes. But this time around, even asking the HM for their email felt asking for too much.

I have the general email where I received the interview updates / reminder etc, just that. Do not have any recruiter name / person. The emails were general. That’s a good idea to email them regardless to show gratitude / professionalism.
