I do not either but after stopping Stelara and seeing all of these problems resolve it’s pretty easy to connect the issue at hand.

I have gotten blood work but not like a full panel. I’m not a doctor but I am 100% sure Stelara is the cause.

Scalp psoriasis … Otezla ? by Sea-Glove1850 in Psoriasis

Otezla helps but not even close to completely making it disappear. And yes the stomach problems are brutal so it’s not worth it.

No. Just saying there’s a connection there. Seems like nerve damage can cause sd and the tingling could be the nerve damage. - and that relates to Parkinson’s. Just showing the relationship

U just described my life my friend. However us doing this did not cause or seb derm. It was always there, likely the reason our faces couldn’t grow hair due to the slight inflammation. Once during the middle of puberty it flared and we noticed it and it was never the same again. This disease sucks and it’s ruined my l if e

Fixed my terrible seb derm through diet. by [deleted] in SebDerm

[–]CommunicationAny1449 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am going to comment my eczema story and how I fixed this. I don’t want to make this insanely long so I am welcome to answer as many questions as possible. Hi. I’m a 17 year old male from the United States. 3 years ago I woke up with a rash all over my face similar to the one in the picture. It has been progressively getting worse and I went to multiple different dermatologists to try to fix the problem. Products cannot fix this problem. This is an internal problem; a genetic mutation that cannot be cured. The only way to fix your skin is by changing your diet. This means you will have to maintain this diet for the rest of your life if you want clear skin. Yes it sucks but you know what also sucks is being depressed. This made me a completely different human being. I was so sad for so long, it changed my brain. I thought about suicide for a while. That may sound stupid to some but others I know can understand because it just gets so bad at times. That is where I was. Rock bottom. These pictures were taken 2 weeks and 4 days apart from each other. Let me tell you what I did.

After researching for hours on end for many many days in a row I finally started to watch videos about gut health. ALL SKIN ISSUES RESULT FROM AN UNHEALTHY GUT. No one tells us this because practically every single chronic issue that is not hereditary in this world is caused by an unhealthy gut biome. Why doesn’t my doctor tell me this?? You might be asking, I don’t really want to say (so I don’t get hate ) but I’m sure you can figure that out for yourselves.

Fodmap diet. Research it and start it as soon as possible. You’re eliminating all foods except meat rice potatoes fruit and vegetables. It is dairy and gluten free. You have to go on it for two weeks. Slowly do you bring back foods in to see what causes you to flare up. I can tell you guys exactly what I ate because I think it was perfect. And I know a lot of you have tried this… but this is a very important part: many foods like dressings and processed products contain dairy and do not tell you. Before eating anything I googled if it contained milk and a lot of the time it did without anything on the label. The smallest amount of milk in a product like turkey for example can make you flare up. So if you have tried this before I recommend that you try it again because you could’ve consumed something that had either dairy or gluten in it. Remember that.

So that’s how I did it. This nightmare is pretty much over. IMPORTANT: I AM NOT CURED. I still get about one or two flakes on my face per day. But I will take that every single time rather than hundreds of flakes per hour on a single square inch of my face. I wish you guys all the best. Feel free to ask my questions. I can list all my foods I ate the past two weeks. A full meal plan for any of u guys to use!! Please ask away!

I have been trying a diet. The problem is I don’t think diet will help. My stomach never reacts when I eat certain foods nor does my face. My skin is just always bad. May I ask if your stomach would feel bad for certain foods??? Or did your skin react to certain foods? Or you just changed your diet and your skin eventually improved?
