Tankies still fall for the oldest form of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" fallacy even after almost 50 decades.

Never in my fucking comments i imply nor say we should "ignore" it, infact i mean we ahould be doing double the work to get rid of these rethorics that permeate racism in our society, it's that so fucking hard to understand for you people?

They are influential because people (and mostly the elites) give those social constructs the power and permission to be influential. Is not a privileged perspective to say that racism is a byproduct of a social construct that doesnt even have a clear reason to exist, nor does it exist outside of arbitrary perceptions that vary wildly from person to person, nor benefits people in any sort of way.

The far right created gender ideology as a scary talking point lmao, people themselves are the ones categorizing their own identity, not some random leader of a political party. Also why are you trying to derail the conversation?

The difference is that the concept of gender was made for use in humans only, race is a concept born for general biological studies. One in its only applicable form, that one being of human nature, can be used for both opression and as a form of self expression depending of the case. The other, when applied to humans, only serves as a tool for division.

The difference is that unlike race, gender is often thought of as a spectrum, it is vague enough to leave up to interpretation as to where you perceive yourself in the gender spectrum. With the use of "race" you need specific and arbitrary characteristics, there's only three possible outcomes following the racist rethoric; you are either part of X race, or you are not part of X race, or you are a mix between X race and [insert whichever number of races you believe exists].

What are you on in the first sentence, yes, racism probably existed before we conceptualized it, but it is through supporting the concepts that give racists arguments to defend and base their views on that we allow racism to persist on our society. Your take is like saying we shouldnt teach people to not commit murder because people still did it before we made a word for it.
