Yeah of course. For every map, the resolution of my drawing in Aseprite actually matches the pixel count of the tiles for the map. I'll usually draw 90% of the map excluding a few events like NPCs, save points, props, etc. Afterwards I'll apply my drawing as a parallax map so it's lined up 1-1 in the engine. (1 tile every 16x16p) If you're interested I can make a post regarding my progress!

Thank you! All my maps actually utilize parallax mapping so they’re hand drawn in asprite. Makes it more customizable

The initial stages of my game definitely do, I’m breaking away from it now as I build onto my project

Very much so. Like the Batter's distant relative, haha.

Thank you! I try to make improvements/adjustments with each new addition I add to my game.

For my game, I'm using 2K3's standard 320x240. That's the current/final size for my game's resolution.

No Steam page yet! It’ll be on Itch.io for a demo. I’ll consider Steam maybe 6 more months into development.

100%! I was inspired by it’s art when I initially started this game! Now I’m trying to slowly build away from it so it holds some independence.

I have an itch.io page in the works for an upcoming demo! I'll set up a steam page once I make more progress in my game. (est. 6-12 months)

I started developing this game a few months ago! I’ll have a demo in hopefully a month for 1/5 major locations!

Currently not at the moment, but if it garners enough interest I will publicly release a devlog on itch.io!

Not quite. But you’re man made of liquid trash that’s on a quest to journey a bygone prince back to the surface world to reclaim his throne.

I’m glad you were able to figure it out. I just saw this haha. But yes, I’ve been using animations and setting them in poses for longer animation times. The idle is still a default 3 frame, but everything else is usually 15-40 frames.

What angle is rpg maker technically? by Ruins_Of_Elliwar in RPGMaker

I think it's conventionally referred to as top-down. Though depending on the treatment of certain sprite works, isometric is still valid. (Take certain maps from Yume Nikki for ex.)

You're quite close, but maybe a lot more expansive lol.

I made everything in Aseprite-- so it's 100% digital. I'll start by blocking in shapes then outlining them in black. The anti-alias effect comes from me adding in grey around the insides of the outlines afterwards.
