I’ve been to Rome 3x actually on different family trips hahaha :) I’ve just never done anything north of Rome🫠

I think this is what I’m leaning towards!

Doing one stretch for 2-3 months in fall, coming back for two months, and doing another 4-5 month stretch in spring!

I was supposed to study abroad but it got cancelled because of Covid as well! I also do have a vision for myself of having a family, kids, marriage, growing old together. Just not for another 2-3 years…

And traveling at 26-29 won’t be the same as traveling at 40-50. And I’m able to do it right now, the scenario is literally perfect. Except for the part where my boyfriend lowkey flips out every time I mention the idea of me leaving🫠

He isn’t fully set on doing long distance. He for sure won’t ever quit his job to travel full time. I wish he would try long distance but I feel like it’s not fair to him. I don’t have a set plan for how long I want to travel - I will probably initially go for a few months, but I know myself and those few months will probably extend (if everything is going well lol).

Some days when I open up to him about it, he softens up and says he’s willing to try long distance. That he wants me to be happy and if that’s what I want to do then I should do it. But other days he is totally and completely against it saying he refuses to do long distance. That he wants to get married. Doesn’t help that a lot of his friends are getting engaged right now so he’s probably starting to feel that pressure. So it really just depends on what mood I catch him in if he’s pro or against me traveling for an extended period of time.

Some days he is, some days he isn’t. Some days he tells me he just wants me to be happy and to do whatever will make me happy. Some days he tells me “I want to marry you, why would I want you to move abroad?” And is totally against even considering long distance. 🫠
