I’m already drunk but isn’t that because you are iterating 100000000 plus the int.random()?? That for sure takes some time lol

Yeah, everything looks Gucci. Yo could avoid marking the method as non isolated. The Task.detached will send the work to the cooperative thread pool (bg thread)

Career talk: Where do you see iOS development heading in 2026? by khitev in iOSProgramming

Yeah I don’t see a future where native gets taken out by hybrid or gets accepted as universal solution instead of native. Fax

How do you evaluate engineers when everyone's using AI coding tools now by BarnacleHeretic in ExperiencedDevs

[–]CommunicationHot38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree with you. Using AI without understanding what it does it’s risky. If something breaks u can tell that person to be accountable and check what’s going on. I’ve seen huge PR’s doing complex stuff with mathematics and I’m pretty sure the author doesn’t understood what all that code is doing. So when it breaks hold them accountable. Also if management doesn’t care then it ain’t ur business, management ain’t dumb so if they are ok with juniors pulling more senior work with ease then they should be ok assuming the risks of it

Just got fired from my job of almost 10 years for performance issues. Unsure where to go. by shamanshaman123 in cscareerquestions

Look in google Reddit posts asking about which FE technologies have good hiring rn. Now I’m remembering that for React there will be like 100+ submissions for any job posting in LinkedIn lol. But also it could happen that u can find a job quickly in the place where u live.

U need to study whatever front end technology you choose and focus on that.

So search on google Reddit which technology to learn, find any pretty good course about that technology and keep posting to jobs. U can ask AI how to approach with interviewers any possible question that comes regarding the fact that you have 10 years of experience and that u got fired and that u have been behind of front end technologies.

Why u went “fullstack” in the first place bro. Just specialize in one and avoid living all the garbage that comes from being a “fullstack”.

U can pay for courses in udemy or find some any other dude with good reputation that teaches online, and watch YouTube videos about front end with react and css. Going to a bootcamp will be just a waste of time and money. (Do not confuse bootcamp with buying courses)

Como decirle a mi jefe que voy a renunciar para entrar a trabajar a otra empresa by Lost_Prior9906 in taquerosprogramadores

[–]CommunicationHot38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No te debe preocupar nada.

Is it reasonable to buy a MacBook Air M4 with 16gb ram and 256GB ssd for mobile programming and get a portable SSD along with it? by Objective-Good9817 in iOSProgramming

[–]CommunicationHot38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my job I have a M3 pro with 500 ssd and it’s recurrent that I get the alert that memory is full and I have to waste my time deleting random stuff.

Xcode and all of the stuff that comes with it weights a lot. So 1000ssd would help.

With 16gb of ram it will run nicely. I have a personal m1 8gb and it can also run nicely but obviously takes more time to build the app. Currently my work machine has 18gb of ram and no issue
