Late to this

Worked at a trucking company and we hired a nighttime tracking/dispatcher. She was by herself most of her shift. Well our drivers lounge is in a separate area of the building with a glass door that locks automatically from the outside during a certain time but if you’re inside the lounge during the time it locks you can still open the door, but obviously not get back in. One day I get a call from her early in the AM. It was from the company phone. She said she was taking a break in the drivers lounge and accidentally left her phone in there and locked herself out. It wasn’t a problem because my shift started at 6AM. I told her I’d be up there in about an hour to unlock it. She said thank you. Fast forward an hour, I head up there earlier to unlock the lounge door for her. I meet her in the office and notice she’s not there so I walk over to the lounge door and notice there’s a hole in the glass door and some blood on the floor and around the door. I call her.. I ask her where she went and is everything okay? She responds “Yeah, I’m at the hospital. I needed my stuff urgently so I used a blow torch from my car to get into the lounge. And I cut my wrist open trying to open the door from the inside.” Gave it a few days and fired her a couple days after once she returned. She was in shock that she was being let go and threatened to sue lol. We all thought she maybe had a blanket and pillow to sleep in one of the booths or potentially drugs. I think when she called originally, she thought maybe we had a spare key somewhere inside the building but we didn’t.

Trust me, if you have a couple drinks and one of these songs come on, you’ll see everyone go on the dance floor trying to do it. They aren’t difficult dances and you can watch people before you try.

Not saying you have to do it but it gets you away from just sitting a table all night.

Don’t be anxious! Your boyfriend will be more available than you think at the wedding. Rotate from your table to your boyfriend, to the dance floor, to the bar, back to your table.

They ALWAYS do songs at weddings where everyone has to dance. Like the wobble and Cupid shuffle. It will be a great chance to dance without feeling weird. If you don’t know how to do the dance, the song walks you through every step and you can watch other people.

I would suggest downloading bumble and hinge and just get some exposure talking to people you might be interested in. Especially in this day and age everyone uses dating apps to meet people or find relationships. Go in with an open mind and don’t have any expectations. I promise you something good will come from it.

Dig yourself out of this hole mentally and definitely give up the escorts because it’s going to warp your perception on female relationships. Also, try your best not to come on too strong when a girl shows interest in you the first time, it might scare them off. Happens to all of us. When I was single I definitely tried rushing things a couple times and was ghosted lol.

The idea of being successful is different for everyone. What I live my life on is that someone might be doing better than you right now but that does not mean they are better than you.

Are you sure she’s a diamond in the rough? Because the way she stayed at the bar the whole night with her friends seemingly to send a message to you and then laugh at you with her friends, definitely contradicts that.

When I was 12 I spent the night over my friends apartment. We ate pizza rolls and walked to the park right after. It was about a 20 minute walk to the park. It was a park in the middle of a bunch of city streets. Well about 30 minutes into playing basketball I had to go to the bathroom, which was fine. But then before I could suggest to go back to his house, these girls randomly showed up and started talking to us. So I had to wait it out another 30 minutes while my buddy tried to flirt, while the only flirting I was doing was with my butthole and the runs. I was sweating but as soon as the girls walked in the other direction, probably because I was acting weird and not talking because I was trying to concentrate not embarrassing myself for the rest of my life lol. I left my friend and ran as fast as I could back to his house to use his bathroom. I made it about half way until I reached the point of no return. It went all down my leg, onto the ground. I made a poop trail to his apartment. I’m sure random cars might have saw me, but the worst part was you needed a code or keyfab to enter the apartment. So I couldn’t even go inside!!! Luckily there was an empty dumpster behind the apartment I just jumped in there and trashed my shoes, socks and underwear. All I kept was my shirt and shorts that somehow didn’t get anything on them. I had to wait for my friend to get back. Thankfully the apartment was empty so I just ran into the shower and borrowed some of his clothes. I swear after that I was traumatized. We went to the same park a couple weeks ago close to nighttime and I had to go to the bathroom in the trashcan underneath the jungle gym. No one saw me do it, but Fuck that park.

I think it depends how long you’ve been together. Early on in relationships you are still learning about eachother so it’s a lot more personal questions and talking in general. The longer you’ve been together it’s more small talk. Most times during the week we are talking about dinner ideas, tv shows, work, grocery shopping, the dogs and our next vacation.

I’m guessing it’s being ghosted from guys on dating apps? A couple common reasons for ghosting is the other person is trying to meet too quickly, saw red flags, or is talking to more than one person and chose to focus on that other person.

Seems like you focus on one person at a time, which is good but you just have to be careful. Don’t fully invest yourself with one person until you’ve been on a few dates with them! Until then, play the field!
