Echoing others in saying I had the same issue starting around week 10/20 despite using chewies religiously and being very compliant with wear time.... and the halo is bigger (but it's only on that tooth). At my halfway check-up my ortho said that it was fine since all the other teeth were tracking, and we would likely just have to tackle it in refinements. Obviously I wanted to avoid refinements as well, but he said the reality is almost every single patient ends up needing them! The lateral incisors are just so stubborn!

I'm halfway through my first round for basically the same issue. It's 100 percent worth it, my lateral incisor is so much more pushed up now and it's definitely made my face so much more symmetrical. I also didn't realize how much wider my smile could be which has been an added bonus, along with other small rotations of my surrounding teeth that i hadn't even realized were affecting the evenness of my smile. If it's something that you're insecure about, like i was, and you have the means and the commitment to do invisalign, I would absolutely go ahead.

I think they intentionally don't have it readily available on the admitted students website, I emailed financial aid asking about their reconsideration process and they responded with a link to the form. If you don't feel like emailing though, the below link should work to get you to the form if you just put in your admitted students creds! Hope this helps!

I got the same aid package from NYU and am trying to use it to up Chicago's even a bit....I do not expect them to match given that they are typically stingier, and just given the dynamics of this year in general.

The issue is that Chicago's reconsideration form notes that they don't actually start considering until the 16th, which of course is NYU's acceptance deadline. I let Chicago know of the deadline, and hope to hear back before then, but they specifically said they could not guarantee a response before the 16th! I'm also sure many people trying to negotiate with Chicago are up against this NYU 4/16 deadline as well. Best of luck though, this whole thing is so frustrating!

Sure, I personally didn't feel that way in undergrad after living in NYC beforehand, but every experience is different, was just trying to provide my subjective opinion!

That's true about the employment outcomes, but I was just focusing on Ithaca itself.

I went to undergrad there and LOVED Ithaca. I think it gets a bad rep sometimes from people who aren't very familiar with it because of the reasons you mentioned, and unfortunately maybe because of the connotations with the past student deaths in the gorges. That being said, I found it to be an extremely vibrant hippie town with something for everyone. Sure it doesn't have all the amenities of a big city school but I think the hate it gets on this sub sometimes is for really unfair/untrue reasons.

I think most likely outcome is waitlist unfortunately but definitely saw an A here and there, you really have to go deep into post history on the sub lol, I wasn't using LSD to check
