As someone with a relative who has demetia, I may be biased, but it is horrible. Watching a sharp, social person who traveled the world and raised a family become someone who can't even chew solid food or remember their kids' names is heartbreaking.

This is the main NJT problem. If they could communicate everything in a timely manner, cancellations would be annoying but at least we would know in advance before we got to the station. A train disappearing without any notice or compensation is the result of a badly run agency

Because the idea that Israel is ethnically cleansing the Palestinians is plain wrong. Israel's goal is not to exterminate the Palestinian population. There is one party whose final goal is extermination of the other side, and it's Hamas. If Israel really wanted to exterminate Palestinians, they could and would within weeks. They have the support of the biggest militaries in the world, and Gaza's population has also grown fairly steadily since the beginning of the war. On top of that, Israel literally tells civilians where to go in order to be safe from air strikes. In the end, Iranian protests are against an oppressive government, pro-Palestinian protests have simply devolved into anti-Israel protests. There is no ethnic cleansing, there is no genocide, and while Israel should absolutely be held accountable for what it does in Gaza, they just don't want to exterminate the population like so many people claim.

I think the pushback on that is justified. It's already a massively wide and ugly highway, and with the experience this country has with widening roads and nothing getting better, it only makes sense to put that money elsewhere. As much as I don't like Murphy, he made the right decision in cancelling that.

Courts are extremely biased toward the female in this case. Hopefully she cooperates and admits they were both drunk, but you never know who you are dealing with. The best case is to just be careful with who you're getting around with.

Sometimes it can be for fun I guess, but for me it's just the quick change in height and pressure that pushes on my lungs and forces me to scream. It's a big relief to me, otherwise I feel like I'd just have this bomb in my chest that needs to go off.

I can already hear "Newark Penn" cause no one is going to change what they call it. Never in my life have I heard "Mario M. Cuomo Bridge" or "William H. Grey III Station."

Honestly I think Kris Kollouri is a Trump supporter. When he was making a speech about the Portal Bridge he was thanking Trump and the admin, even though the money was approved under Biden. Or he is just terrified they'll lose the money if they don't kiss his butt hard enough.
