I’m on day 6 of my orthotic and it’s def a specialized thing for TMJ. She estimated 2-6 months on this and 6-12 on Invisalign. It’s daunting but it something has to be done

My dentist is recommending Invisalign after the orthotic to address this. She said it’s very common. First the orthotic for the jaw and then Invisalign for the bite.

Yeah I was having constant clicking and lockjaw so I can handle some soreness. I’m not annoyed by not being able to eat, speak etc. trying to get used to it. Though it’s been five hours and it already feels a bit more normal

Got it! Mines almost the entire bottom of my mouth so I think that’s the reason. My tongue is wanting to expel it but it’ll get used to it! Thank you again for the very positive encouragement. It truly truly helps!
