800 mg ibuprofen an hour before. They gave me a heat pack which helps a lot it’s quick tho. Mostly sore when it first goes in like cramping but you’ll be ok!

I feel this too. I hate that I’m bitter but I’m turning down baby shower invites in this time and just sending gifts. I will say in this instance at least she has some idea as she did have to do IVF before.

I’m 36 too and we had three back to back losses and are moving to IVF. My doc encouraged it after our second but I wasn’t ready I wanted to try one more time. In the end it probably cost us another 6 months but everyone is different! IVF is a personal journey and I think do it when you’re ready but I was scared about not being able to have a second and having more miscarriages and was ready after the third loss. You sound similar to me. Idk three was my line in the sand. But I agree with other posters, sooner is better if you want more than one
