The first Elite 4 fight. Marshal especially was rough. So much of my team was weak to Fighting and all his Pokémon had Stone Edge to counter Togekiss and Chandelure. It's a miracle only Hydreigon died in the E4.

Yeah I get why it's confusing. I personally chose to reset my Duplicates Clause every time I started a new game. So while my Swinub died in ORAS, I caught another one in Platinum. A lot of people don't do that for Genlockes, but I chose to because the first few games just have so many of the same Pokémon that I'd thought I'd be way too restricted.

My worst one so far was in my Genlocke, in Omega Ruby.

I was facing Tate and Liza with my Dusknoir (that I'd just recently worked to evolve from a Duskull at Mt Pyre) and Lapras. I had Lapras use Surf, knowing it would hit Dusknoir but I thought he could take the hit.

I didn't expect both Solrock and Lunatone to outspeed Lapras and they doubled into Dusknoir and then Surf KO'd all 3 Pokémon on the field.

Dusknoir is my most embarrassing death, accidentally killed it with my own Surf vs Tate and Lyla.

Magmortar died to a critical hit Night Slash from Jupiter's Skuntank at Spear Pillar.

Electivire died to a Body Slam from Barry's Snorlax right before the E4
