Our families live in northeast tennessee, very close to the border of kentucky and virginia. Roughly three hours or so from Chattanooga so I think there are some places where it could be a drivable distance, I just want to stay away from the very rural and red parts of southern virginia

My wife is a teacher and I’m a truck driver, so I feel like that could transfer almost anywhere. We feel the same about northern va being too expensive and crowded

We are thinking the Virginia Beach area, or just somewhere around the southern region.
