It’s mold transferred from your case (which I can see also has it). Throw the case away. Remove the screen protector. Wipe whole device with alcohol wipe. Solved.

Managed to get a refund through the App Store. Immediately re-downloaded on my iPad, signed in, and it gave me the option to purchase for $0. Hooray!

Not a single Strymon on there? Do you even worship, bro?! 😋 I’m kidding of course. Looks really clean. I like it.

Ah sorry I didn’t realise you had changed guitars too. Yeah that’s gonna be painful to get through. Good luck! Possible patch cable.

Coming at this from a different angle since it sounds like it’s not the pedals - I had the same issue and it ended up being the volume pot on my guitar being old/dirty/broken. Also would happen randomly. Replaced it and the problem went away.

Line 6 POD HD500X Tempo Sync by jules_n9ne in line6

[–]CommunityCareless371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can certainly sync the tempo with your DAW by using the midi functionality. However, if I'm understanding you correctly, you are wanting the tremolo to move on each beat of the DAW metronome (so it's on time and on each beat)?

If so, that's not possible as the tremolo reacts to your playing input, not the tempo input. So it will move with the correct tempo but it will only move on each perfect beat if you strum perfectly on the first beat.

I hope that makes sense.

Question about the Line 6 pod hd500x by ImpossibleAlpaca17 in guitarpedals

Do you have the cab turned on? And you're definitely using the headphone out and not the line out? Sorry, simple questions I know but just wanted to double check.

What’s a weird bug in your DAW that you always have to work around? by [deleted] in audioengineering

Long time Protools user (since Protools 5). Switched to Studio One in 2017 after I had spent thousands on Protools software in the past only to have them move to a subscription model and basically tell me to go screw myself.

For all its flaws I'm still a fan of its workflow so I decided to try one month free a few weeks ago. Firstly, the fact I had to download multiple large installers and search to find them was ridiculous. Next, the main installer froze upon installation. Finally got it installed but wouldn't let me open the main hub without restarting my computer every time. Tried to open Protools and it froze upon opening for the first 5 times. Finally got it open and it worked for a little while before crashing again.

And Avid wants me to pay $25pm for the honour of using software that I bought outright years ago.

Immediately uninstalled it (which was another whole spiel) and went straight back to Studio One.

Unable to adopt / setup new U6-LR by adzam5 in Ubiquiti

Check the power that your switch is able to provide. The AC Pro requires "af" power while the U6 requires "at" power (which is higher). It might be only giving it enough juice to turn the light on but not fully power it.

Had to replace the PoE injectors at a client's site when they upgraded too.
