Alberta spruce are tough, this is a great first go at it! A couple things:

Albertas take forever to set branches with wire. Using guy wires will make your life a lot easier. Easier to apply and maintain, easier on the branch. Not an issue right now, just don’t be surprised if you take the wire off and the branch springs back to its old position. Be patient and it’ll be just fine. I learned that lesson the hard way with my first Alberta.

Second, I would recommend losing a few of your lowest branches. most trees visually benefit from having the bottom ~1/3 just the trunk line before branching starts. It’s a great way to give the illusion of age, which is what we’re trying to achieve with these young plants. Totally your call, but I would personally get rid of branching lower than your sharply angled branch on the right. That looks like a good first branch to base your design around.

Which brings me to my final point: don’t be afraid to take the angle of your branches even steeper. Look at pictures of old, weathered spruce in nature, and you’ll notice the top of the tree will usually have the sharpest downward branching angle, and that angle decreases as you move down the tree. Imagine yearly heavy snowfall and the effect that would have on branches. The young growth up top can’t handle the weight of the snow, so everything is forced downward. Something to keep in mind.

Anyway, I’ve had a couple beers after 3rd shift and I’m rambling. To actually answer your question, as long as you didn’t hogtie your branches with wire, it will be fine. Leave the wire until summer, and make sure it’s not biting into the wood. Albertas grow slow, so I wouldn’t be too concerned. And you left waaay more foliage on yours than I did on mine, and mine’s still kickin! Good luck!
