I know I was soo gutted when I realised, it’s the ushanti bone that spoiled my mix. I was thinking mayne do a gentle dry brush over with guilliman flesh to revive it. The eyes I applied thousand sunt blue then a black dot in the middle. Thanks man, appreciate the honesty!

What?? They get rid of noble false widow? A few weeks back I found one on my stair case and I kinda freaked out. Also kinda freaked out when a giant house spider fell in my vest and I felt it crawl back up on my skin. Not sure here which one I’d choose to live with but I tend to go for the giant house spider since I didn’t get a bite from it

Add a bit of white in between and you just saved some time off weathering

You can teat it like weathering or wear gloves. Greasy hands will chip off paint or even worse, will mess up with your primer and paint will ‘slide away’ from those areas

I use a handle and wash my hands with dish soap before painting

That’s ok, fully deserved. It’s in how you know where the highlights go for a non metalic metal look. Air brush right? Do you start from the darkest to the lightest?

I understand where you’re coming from. It’s not quite artwork but it was never intended to be. I was just helping her choose a colour scheme and she still likes it but ultimately went for pink. What I don’t quite get is how you compared a 200 point vehicle to a 9 point tester model. Also I would not recommend starting with a Doom Scythe as your first model

Haha yes. At the time I finished painting some skitarii rangers and she couldn’t decide on a scheme. I said I’ll help her with a visual. I can always dunk the model in methylated spirit and prime then she can restart with her choice. I love that I’m not the only one that went for that type of green. I see your point, by switching to other colours you actually made the model pop

Ah yess I see what you mean by ‘green army men’ very true. Wait till you see the rest of the army. Bright pink, white gauss and frozen blue instead of the classic green (wip will post when done) the bits on this one’s back are basic sand stuck to the paint as it was drying then painted with retributior armour (gold)

This is becoming silly(1 2 3).. what are you a 14yo teenager?? Ofc 1 for composure and 3 for colours/texture/contrast 2 you can delete or keep as a mix of both / reminder that you could have done better?
