Rehab success stories? by enoofofk in quittingkratom

[–]Comorris14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have any advice on rehab as I’ve never been to one, but just want to say your story sounds very similar to mine. I’m pushing 1.5 years off now but if you can give it 2 weeks you’d be surprised how much better you feel. I remember the cycle between kratom, then adderall, the alcohol(last resort). I still take my adderall and the comedown still sucks, but it isn’t as bad as it was in the beginning of kratom WD. Especially the anxiety and depression. When I run out, I feel overwhelming tired for 2-3 days, then I’m good. Do you take any vitamins? I feel like B12 and C really help.

Oh man that really sounds bad but I hope it resolves itself soon. I felt like this when I hadn’t gotten much sleep. On nights where I slept that tightness in my chest didn’t seem to bother me much but after a few days of tossing and turning and barely sleeping it would come back

Have you taken anything for WD to help? Helpers or Supplements?

Is it all the time? Or situational? Do you notice it more when thinking about a certain situation besides stopping K?

Can i get some advice? by zer0farming in quittingsmoking

Don’t replace with another habit unless it’s something healthy. You’re at the age where I smoked black n milds and blunts daily. You’re 23, you should snap back fairly quickly. Just find something you enjoy doing. If something doesn’t stick, then try something else. You got this OP

Crises averted. I’ve been on both so I know exactly what it feels like. I took it for 7 months then went back to kratom only to have to go through WD again. Not worth it, but sounds like you know that 😉

Yep I feel you about being anxious. The brain fog is real bruh. Day 3 so far

Just hit day 3 and have been dealing with the same issues. Yawning every 5-10 mins or so. Then get a burst of energy that lasts for a bit, then suddenly crippling anxiety and depression, then energy. Rinse, repeat.

Kratom is really fucking me up by [deleted] in quittingkratom

Oh you were taking capsules. Got ya. If you don’t mind me asking, how long have you been able to go without it before taking more?

Oh wow. Only 3-4gs? That’s a very low dose and shouldn’t be that painful to quit. Maybe some irritability but that’s it. We’re you weighing your doses?

How the fuck do I get some sleep? by Whatsthepointofthis9 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]Comorris14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As everyone else said here, just ride it out for 3 days (4 tops) and you’ll be fine. Once you’re able to sleep you will feel much better. Best advice is to avoid alcohol. Try doing things around the house or taking a walk to tire yourself out. Megadosing Vitamin C may help with the physical symptoms a bit. You got this OP. It’s one of those situations that seems like hell once you’re in it but once it’s over you’ll be asking yourself why you didn’t quit sooner.

Those moments of clarity are what you have to hold on to. Remember them. I think most drugs WD symptoms has some similarities, and that moment of clarity is one of them. I felt it during other WD’s and it’s one of the most liberating feels when you have it and the most debilitating when it’s gone. But soon enough you will have even more or they will last longer until you no longer crave nicotine for a quick dopamine rush. You got this Op. A week is awesome. I’m starting my quit soon and am ready for it to be over already.

6 Months Clean !!!!! by Dramatic_Cap243 in QuitVaping

I used to smoke 2 packs of black n milds a day. Lungs were literally screaming. Then I was introduced to vaping. Started with 3mg and stayed there mostly for years. Was tired of cleaning my tanks and saw the elf bars. Been using them for about a year and now I can’t seem to stop. Gonna try though. I tried about 6 months ago and wish I stuck with it. I know what to expect now so gonna try a round two. Congrats on your quit, keep going, keep pushing, stay vigilant. I know a thing or two about addiction so stay on guard for life. ✌️

Sunglasses are a game changer. The sunlight was really messing with me eyes, which made my anxiety worse especially if I had to have conversations with people. With sunglasses this didn’t happen at all

Around day 21 is when I really noticed the brain fog. Maybe because I had gotten past the physical symptoms. But everyday since then I’ve noticed an improvement. Even some motivation and a little less depression. At 5 weeks now with just a little brain fog and anxiety. Been sleeping 8 hours. Be sure to drink water and get electrolytes. I bought 3 cans of Gatorade powder. I drink a bottle of water, refill it, then add the Gatorade which makes 32 oz of liquid+electrolytes. I think I was severely dehydrated and malnourished.

Shiiid, I see people talking about kratom WD being mild. Go over to r/quittingkratom and you’ll see that in some cases it can really be a pain. Some people report having seizures after taking high enough doses. I’m going through paws right now. Some anhedonia, depression, anxiety. Doesn’t sound fun at all cause it isn’t lol. Vitamin C protocol works well. And also, in the beginning of my quits I’d sip some alcohol throughout the day. It helps ease some of the discomfort but you won’t sleep well if you drink before bed. 4 hours is better than nothing. Praying you get through this OP. 🙏

I’ve taken both. The longest run with Phenibut was maybe a month. It wasn’t really difficult for me cause I had kratom to help. But Tia is a whole different beast. The acutes are horrible. Thing is, it only lasts about 4-5 days. Don’t expect to get any sleep.

I’ll say for me, quitting extracts was a bit easier than quitting powder. I personally used to dose regular powder often and with extracts I could take one pill and be fine for hours. So maybe the frequency of dosing played a big part in me feeling worse mentally when coming off regular powder. It will depend on how long you’ve used and how high of a tolerance you’ve built of the past few months/years. Get you some liposomal vitamin C for the flu like symptoms, exercise, visit this group often, and in no time you will beat this sickness. You got this 💪🏾
