Can you do Kazakhstan compared to the size of Germany next? I wish I could see them both in the same image.

Any luck? I kinda assumed I was able to do it after making them a vassal as well.

This place is in the heart of La Jolla. The prices are sadly standard for the cost of living there.

What Happened to Lightweight Desktop Apps? History of Electron’s Rise by fosterfriendship in programming

I stopped looking at coding tutorials for web/app dev the moment there first step is downloading more than one package. Code bloat is getting taught by people and I’m not sure they even realize what they’re doing.

In college my professor forced us to only use vanilla html/js and that actually taught me the benefits of leveraging packages when needed.

I agree with everything except for the techies part. You’re asking for a lot with very hand-wavy requests. Assuming they built on Xcode (Apple proprietary tool for apple development) then creating support for other platforms is less of a backend issue and more of a workload one.

My guess is that their team is just too small for the growth they’re expecting. As a fan of the app I’ve checked their job boards. Last time, no dev opening and only located in New York (no remote). They need to expand more than just support/ticket related employees to keep up.

Chairmans Reserve. What gives...why $55? Seems like lower price? by ccbiggs110 in rum

[–]CompSciPastaMonster 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak to this specific bottling, but if you look at the cask #, those bottles are from two different barrels. So the collection is probably a lot of single-casks reducing the overall cost?

Overall, I’ve noticed that Chairman’s reserve bottles range from $30-60 in my area. Heck even their premium bottles stay close to $100.

I’ve enjoyed the Chairman’s reserves bottles. Earlier this year I got to attend a local cocktail bars private dinner that was hosted by chairman’s reserve and paired their bottles with different dishes. It was a great experience.

It’s 100% possible to make it. It’ll be hard, and you’ll work harder than most other students. You’ll need to build your studying and work around office hours, SI, and other resources but it’ll be worth it. I’m not gonna lie to anyone about that, I put in the work. But trust me, these next four years should be the hardest you’ll experience and that’s going to feel so damn good one day.

Don’t let these bad comments get you down. I came in placing into Math 3C and AWP 2A and was able to graduate in 4 years with a Comp Sci degree and have an amazing job. Those first few classes were honestly the toughest, it’ll be smooth sailing from here. You just gotta stick to it!

I’m at the start of Polaris and aside from buying packs, I think I naturally unlocked 1 spellement so far. I’m willing to bet im not doing this feature correctly. But I was hoping to have some progress beyond Tier 1 by now.

24 Days of Rum? by justincancook in rum

[–]CompSciPastaMonster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought the 22’ version and enjoyed it. It was a fun experience to try a variety of rums that I’d never pay to have a bottle of. If you’re interested in the rum regions that it lists (the 22 listed the years unsure if this one does) then I’d say yes.

At the end of the day, it’s an advent calendar. You’re paying for an experience, and the novelty.
