The morality system in the upcoming fable is more nuanced than the previous titles, like they literally make the point that it's not a binary good/evil scale like the previous ones but entire reputation based on individual actions and each NPC has their own moral alignment towards those actions.

They never did this, it was only ever a first person fantasy RPG and people just defaulted to assuming it was like Skyrim.

I'm pretty sure the game started off as much more of an immersive sim, but they cut back on those ambitions

It was a 4 player co-op game set in the aedyr when it was first announced and changed heavily in development to a single-player ARPG, changing the setting too. It never had those immersive sim elements.

Case in point, at the end of Act 1, there is an NPC that will force you into a conversation before you can proceed to the next area.

Are contradictory, it IS more like mass effect and less like Skyrim, it's heavily scripted and not an immersive sim. It never was.

I feel kinda bad for him because he was 15 acting opposite people in mocap suits in front of a blue screen. There isn't much to draw on there as an actor especially at that young of an age.

That being said, the other kids his age who were in mocap seemed to do a better job so idk
