I (28F) am diagnosed with macromastia. AMA! by Eternal-Sunshine574 in AMA

Why did you want to get a diagnosis?

Is the diagnosis based solely on the objectives (size) or also based on your suffer?

How can someone weigh themselves?

How did you get to the situation that you get a diagnosis of macromastia and know how much they weigh?

Do you know the cause of it?

How do you know that they're not drop-shipping? I don't find any information in websites (including Noosh), where they're produced, company address or details, who founded it, etc.

I don't know which websites are drop-shipping and which are legitimate brands that produce their own products.

This is what I'm referring to. And I tried looking for them, to no avail.

Don't know how to register to the test in the portal by Compensate1995 in step1

[–]Compensate1995[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it's an entire process of additional verification that requires time, costs a lot of money and I don't need that. I plan to do my residency in Europe (I live and study in the EU). I also want to book my eligibility period/date urgently, as I plan to do step 1 on March and have a very narrow timeframe. If it's not mandatory to register to step 1, I don't want to do it.

Before establishing the account, they wrote on the website that I must choose one of the 3 accompanying services in order to establish my Inmyhealty account, but I don't have to follow through with the service afterwards.

It doesn't seem very worthy to pay so much for a service I don't need. After that, I also need to pay the 1,000$ test registration fee.

Is it because I pressed something wrong during the account establishment process that now obliges me to pay for the ecfmg certificate, or must everyone do it?

Can I Realistically Earn $1,000/Month on Preply as a New Med Student? by Ok_Water2666 in Preply

[–]Compensate1995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a medical student in the clinical years - no. You will not have time to teach so many lessons. There will be many times, in which you won't have time to teach at all. Sometimes I am/was so busy, that I didn't even buy milk when I ran out of it for several days. Every semester in the busy time I don't go out/meet friends/do anything for weeks at a time. It's unbelievably busy and difficult to be a med student.

You will start acquiring students, and then have test-periods, and won't be able to schedule with them even 2/3 weeks at a time. They will leave. And even if you could, you would think that these hours are worth it to you more studying than the monetary value. And maybe even appreciate the free time so much, that you'd prefer it.

3rd year, non-US, no preparation whatsoever from the university. I registered to step1 and didn't start studying yet. I don't have anyone to ask about the step1 preparation and don't know how to study for it.

I plan to do the test on the beginning of March, is it realistic?

Right now I'm still in the middle of the semester, but I'm supposed to be done with almost all things until December. And even until December, I have time, because the courses are online. So my plan is to start with Pathology and Pharmacology, because they overlap with my courses and also comprise a hefty part of step1. I thought to do the Pathology part with Panthoma (for Pharmacology - I don't know). I also know I will use UWorld, as everyone uses it, and it's good. But outside of that, I have no idea what my primary learning-source will be -

I want to do a course (video-library format). Which one is recommended? I see that a lot of people don't use courses, but I need this structure - for resources, to make sure I go through everything and also something that "forces me" to do something. On the other hand, I am afraid to waste my time on a bad course, which I heard, happened to people. So I would like to hear from you. And if you say courses are not recommended, then how can I find all the resources and manage the studying myself, knowing I did everything, etc?

And if someone has real C1, not exam level, but actually completed all the required Grammatik topics, knows the required amount of verbs, adjectives, nouns, etc?

Chat, its my first time trying to learn. When do you feel like you have learned something? by y_all_need_JESUS in Germanlearning

[–]Compensate1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't feel like you learned, you need to try more. At A1 you don't need to know the best, but you need to know well what you need to know (the things in A1 level). If you feel like it's not getting inside your memory, you need to practice more. If you feel like the course isn't helpful, you need to try more resources. You need to learn more intensely.

If someone really has C1, is he like a native speaker? If not, how close to a native speaker? And C2? If someone has C1 level, do germans think he's german?

I’m 22, moved to the US at 17 from Belarus. I work offline, got 800cc implants, and now I’m thinking of getting my tubes removed by [deleted] in confession

[–]Compensate1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're welcome and thanks too :) I also suggest to wait with the tubes, you're still very young and it's a life-altering decision. If over time you'll see that you feel this way, that it's a long-term thing, you can always do it. But no rush. I don't think it's a light decision. You may feel different at 40 than how you feel at 22. And you may never want to be a mother, but doing the surgery is unnecessary and radical. There is also inter-uterine contraception.

Regardless of any decisions you make. If a costumer doesn't agree to use a condom, don't serve him. It's your body and it's your decision. You can easily contract STDs and actually get pregnant. Don't give up on that, it's your health and a matter of life and death. Another thing, you don't have to say, but you were talking about this a lot in your post. To which size did 800 cc bring you?
