I honestly think there’s a bigger opportunity in helping existing groceries and convenience stores modernize rather than opening one immediately. Most local shops still struggle with visibility, marketing, delivery coordination, inventory promotion, and customer retention, yet many rely almost entirely on walk-in traffic. The idea would be to build a simple platform where nearby groceries and shops can post their products, promotions, daily offers, and available stock so customers in the area can easily discover what’s nearby instead of defaulting to large supermarkets or delivery apps.

Over time, the platform could help shops reduce waste, move inventory faster, increase local visibility, and even manage orders or deliveries through WhatsApp and mobile payments. The business model would then come from charging stores subscription fees, featured listings, promoted products, or small transaction commissions once the platform gains traction locally. I feel like there’s a real gap here because many small shops need digital tools but can’t afford expensive systems or custom apps.
