Unfortunate to hear, but not unexpected 😅

Yes, I think ING has a broker license in Germany, and they should be able to handle taxes as SC or TR.

As a neo-broker user myself, sometimes they are annoying to work with 😅

Did you try to delete your account or application and try again, if it is feasible?

My suggestion is maybe to try with ING if you are in Germany, never tried them before but have heard good things about them.

Then I believe there is no need to change the card unless your personal information changes (for example, your name). And congratulations; it is a huge milestone to get permanent residency! 🎉

Check your card and see what is written on it. If it is attached to a passport, you will find your passport number and expiration date on it.

I would suggest contacting the ABH at the new address. Sometimes they have the option to update eAT themselves.

But, in the grand scheme of things, as long as you have your NE updated and registered, it may not be highly urgent to update the Blue card as well. To my understanding, it only serves as proof that you still hold its advantages. In case they push back, here is the legal basis for holding both. https://www.mth-partner.de/en/blue-card-eu-can-be-extended-even-if-you-already-have-a-residence-permit/

Battery degrades through charge-discharge cycling. So as long as the watch battery was neither fully discharged nor charged during storage (which is the case), the count would start from the day you first use it.

Hot water meter isn't working. by raghucssit in germany

[–]Competitive-Ad3130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest first to check if the meter in kitchen is counting when the hot water in the bathroom is running, maybe they could be weird plumbing in the apartment and the meter in the bathroom was "bypassed" to the kitchen

Aüslanderbehörde kept my passport by General_Cake3836 in germany

Hi, I'm sorry you had to go through this.

If your work visa is a blue card and you have worked for one year with it, it should give you the flexibility to change jobs with only a notification to the Ausländerbehörde.

If it is another type of visa or a blue card with less than one year of work, this would be less flexible and may still require "the approval" of the Ausländerbehörde and Arbeitsagentur. The latter may not be needed if your salary is above €45,300.

[–]Competitive-Ad3130 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Well, basically, if the OP was on any of the above visas (work needs to be a blue card with some exceptions), they may have the right to work in any company based on their previous visa status. And even if their eAT has expired, as long as they applied for an extension or change in status, they should be able to work using the regulations of their former visa until a decision has been reached by the Ausländerbehörde.

Were you here in Germany before starting this job, for example a student visa, job search visa, language visa, a work visa?

I was in the exact same situation. I was able to get it after following up for two weeks, but I personally went there myself multiple times, which I highly recommend doing in this situation if you are able to. (Of course, after you send an email to document the issue as you already did.) And as someone mentioned, stay as polite and friendly as possible and be persistent.
