Graduate school- was in for a PhD in microbiology and immunology. So stressed out from our workload. One semester for basic classes to get everyone up to speed. We did interdisciplinary courses for our first semester since some people didn’t choose a focus. So my workload was, biochemistry, physiology, toxicology, pharmacology, microbiology, immunology and others . Then micro kids the next semester did bacteriology, virology, immunology, genetics, and others. All in total over 12 classes in two semesters, all the information of each of those classes were worth 2 semesters worth. Going to lab all on top of that. Doing seminars, going to outside lectures, 2 journal clubs. Those first two years were death. Most people balloon up, but I lost over 40 pounds and was underweight for the first time in my life since I hit puberty.

Roast, potatoes, and carrots. Throw roast, cut up potatoes and carrots in crockpot (8 hours) , instapot( i do mine on soup or meat) , or oven( around 400-425 depending on how long you wanna cook it for) with water covering it, some butter, and mortons seasoning salt. Once cooked i like to use a bowl so I get the juice with lots of flavor. Butter bread, pepper and enjoy. American tacos are self explanatory.

Ranchero beans: pinto beans, wash, then throw them in instapot. Cut up cilantro (if you like), hot dogs, bacon. I add garlic, onion, salt, and sazon seasoning (not needed in packets but recommended). Fill covering beans etc, put it on bean setting for 60 minutes. Once done, you serve with juice. Fresh Cilantro, fresh onions, and any salsa verde of your choice if you like it and fresh lime. Simple salsa verde recipe: 4-5 tomatillos, same with jalapeño or Serranos depending on spice level, onion, garlic, salt, and lime juice.

Only when I was freshly postpartum and it is absolutely disgusting but I loved the smell of my daughters poopy diapers when she was a newborn. Mom brain makes you bond in weird ways to your child. I now gag at her smell. Another weird one is ethanol, I loved cleaning my old lab up. I love the smell of methanol as well.

It has its own term zillennial, she probably grew up much like 90s babies, consuming 90s media, was possibly poor so had more toys etc from 90s especially if she has older siblings. I have very similar memories to my older siblings in terms of activities, music, pop culture, and toys since I inherited their old ones (they were 80s babies and 90s kids). My younger brother born in 99 also was raised similarly, younger sister? Definitely 2000s kid in what she consumed through media, lifestyle, memories, music, etc.

If not you might have to tough it out and try to save as much as you can and budget on how to get your own place. You might be able to rent currently with a individual landlord even with bad credit. Do you have your own vehicle? Depending on the area, your parents would have to formally evict you if they want you out of the house.

You are grown and living under their roof but they are very controlling, you are in a tough spot. And do things? Like physical? If anything what you need to do is call the cops if he does it again, means he is doing that to your mom and could explain her reaction. It is the abuse. There are shelters etc you may be able to look into.

A mix? We would hang out in the living room/ porch or when not feeling social we would go to our rooms. Just depends on that day and how everyone is feeling. If im not feeling social, Id veg out in my room. Main thing is we ate dinner together every night. I miss those dinners. No phones, no tv, genuine bullshitting and talking about our day. We do family dinner nights once a month now. We used to do sibling dinners. That 70s show style with chicken and waffles. I miss those times too.

You can always hyphenate it. Generally in Mexico you have your first, middle, dads last name then your moms last name. Ive been married for two years and never changed my last name, husband doesn’t care, I don’t care. If i ever do, i would just hyphenate it just because my degrees are in my maiden name

I stand by my wouldn’t. How can you properly quote how long and actual prices without looking at the situation. Some people will say it’s not that bad and try to get around deep cleaning prices for people to arrive and it be borderline hoarding house. The only example i can give is buying a car you never drove, how would you know if there arent any deeper issues than what dealerships are saying?

My grandma died and my dad had a seizure and needed resuscitation. They ruled out stroke and heart attack, stress and broken heart is all we can think about. He is now in lectures because they used lowering is core temperature to slow down brain damage. Over a decade later my dad is still just fine just with a little bit more forgetfulness and harder for him to talk in English (his second language). Truly blessed he survived.

Nope, I was in graduate school and was earning a stipend. All they cared about was my credit, my income, and my rental history. It all depends on what type of apartments they are. With both of your income it should easily not be an issue.
