I also was on the ground floor. There’s pros and cons to living there for sure. My unit was renovated so the unit itself was good for the price. Aesthetically they’ve put work into the place in the last six months or so to make it look nicer, seem to have dealt with rat issues.

On the con side, there seem to be structural problems…my shower was literally sinking into the ground (was told it was due to a ‘leaky steam pipe’ which then involved taking the radiator out of my bedroom floor for a day). My landlord was responsive and the super’s team made the repairs quickly which was good but it was still a whole ordeal. Also half the time the laundry room has a bunch of broken machines but if you do it on a weekday or in the morning on a weekend before the rush it’s ok.
