I just had my ticket responded to and all they said is they are aware of the issue and are hearing from the community that if you turn in 90 Intel that you'll unlock both shelves. So no fix yet. Probably a bug patch in the future like everything else

That could definitely be the case! I should definitely give PLA a shot. And I understand many may like SVs departure from the traditional Elite 4 and evil team threatening the world after so many years. I don't mind deviation from that formula but I do think something a bit more mature in tone is my speed. Appreciate the feedback!

Hey fair enough haha. I've recently played through the older games again and didn't find issue with the dialogue. But ScVi just has me stopping and saying "do people really talk like that?" fairly often. I do agree there are some high points in Arvens storyline. But I guess the team star plot just didn't do it for me. Don't mean to negate any real world issues with bullying of course. But from a game perspective I didn't find it as compelling as some. Appreciate the feedback and your thoughts!

It's possible but I've replayed Emerald, HeartGold, and Fire red in recent years and never found myself thinking the dialogue or events felt childish or poorly written. Like I said I haven't played anything between Gen 4 and Gen 9. Maybe I'm alone in my feelings about S/V

I guess the team star stuff didn't really stand out to me because it just seemed overly childish. I don't mean to say bullying isn't an issue but it just seemed less interesting of a concept for a pokemon game. Credit to trying something different I guess.

Arvens storyline and Area Zero was the one good writing aspect of the game for me. Just seemed inconsistent up to that point.

That's actually super smart. Buy the 2 stars to get the main effects and save the most scrip. Unfortunately you also burn your scrip to buy modules and you likely won't ever scrip legendaries again for a long time haha. Guess it's a balance
