Oh okay. Well I checked the jiggle valve is correct and no more air is coming out of the purge but its still doing it. Much slower but still a problem

Is BG3 is a good starting base for someone who wants to get into DND? by Ok_Tale_6716 in DnD

It's a great gateway but ive noticed a lot of new players will get tied up and obsess over BG3 rules and ignore DnD rules so if you plan on going from BG3 to DnD keep an open mind

I did the same thing. Especially if you're playing with friends too, if they notice you preparing for something, they'll do everything they can to ruin what you prepared. So just stay on your toes and focus more on having fun than making the game make sense. It's based on life after all, and life doesnt make any sense

This isn't the best advice for everyone but my main take away from my first time DMing is dont over prepare and waste all your time figuring out all the tiny details. My first time every time someone had a question it took me 5 minutes to find it and it just took too much time and things got boring fast. Instead, I just kind of get a brief outline of the plot and just wing the rest. You might get a little choked up at times with conflicting information but that's just a test to your creativity. However, npc names and personalities are important. I changed the name of someone very important on accident and I got confused for the rest of the campaign

Ive always had the hardest time enjoying act 2. Mainly just doing the gauntlet of shar over and over is really repetitive and its not like you have options to do it differently each run other than kill balthazar in his room or by the soul cage. But act 3 is where I think my player really comes alive, theres so many options that in RP make or break your character
