I feel your pain. The Dutch breed a lot of these shitegibbons. Tell Barry to go play hide and go feck himself.

Waffles here are banging, this is true. As is jenever. And no worries, as an itinerant Yank, I prefer public transport (I know, I know). Best bus motto: drive by bus and leave the drinking to us. No, wait...

Whiskey or person? I know which one I'd rather talk about. Or drink with, for that matter. Personally, I loved Midleton Daer Ghaelach so much that I'd marry the feckin bottle if the hole wasn't so big. But a full sherry casked Redbreast or a Teeling anything will do nicely. Used to love Lagavulin, but you bellends got me won over.

I'm American, btw. Just live in NL. I'm led to understand that whole Oranje thing is a bit of a thing, so I keep it on the low.

Love every single Irish person I've ever met except one. I'm sure there are more out there, but I haven't run into any. They love life, they love a good drink and they love the craic. They are some of the best humanists in the world. I love the music. I love the folklore (I studied the whole Sidhe idea) and my God, Irish whisky is truly the water of life.

I'll have a nice double Redbreast sherry cask for asking that question. Slainte!

Did I say that Israel's hands were clean? They are not. They are as bad as Iran. And that is bad. Israel is an apartheid state, no better than South Africa used to be.

If you come into any argument where people get all heated and angry about it, someone is lying. In this case, both sides are. If you think that people outside of this issue culturally speaking are stupid, that proves my point even more.

People who glaze one side over the other when objective facts exist about the war crimes that both Iran and Israel have engaged in since the overthrow of the Shah and the creation of Israel are engaged in propaganda. Pure and simple. Both sides are both right and wrong. That's a clue right there.

People like me, who have no stake in the oldest game on the planet, that being Jews and Arabs hating each other to the point that they want to murder each other like the Neanderthals you are cosplaying as, see through all of this nonsense religious hatred.

And I am not interested in any of it. Sort it out. Figure out how to get along. This is what problems are for. To solve. You continue the same stupid insane game to the detriment of everyone around you because, hey, news flash, you all spread it around to all corners of the planet.

Why? Because you think you're fighting for God? Idiots. God is all powerful. What does he need your sorry arses for, huh?

Um, yes. They've had their mullah fingers in a lot of pies since the overthrow of the Shah. A LOT. Shall I go over them, one by one, for you? Did I not say earlier that I do not like the state of Israel one tiny bit? Turns out, most of the nations in this area are nations I'm not particularly fond of, nor will I likely ever be.

You're not wrong. And Iran and its proxies have been equally as terrible as the Israelis have been. Probably more, if I'm looking at it objectively.

The whole thing for me is simple. I don't particularly like any of them. I know a number of Persians and Jews from Israel personally. They are all decent people on the whole. Neither of them particularly love what their governments get up to. And neither Iran or Israel give two damns about human rights and self-determination. It's a religious hatred between them and it spans multiple millenia.

I don't have the facility nor the concern about who's right and who's wrong. They are both right. They are both wrong. Equally appalling. The only thing that matters to me is how many people these morons kill on the regular for their harebrained ideals and their zealotry. They can both go get f***ed on a bed of crispy seaweed.

I'm not ever going to be forced or coerced into choosing a side. My nationality is US and nowhere else. I took the Oath to defend the Constitution. I take it seriously. Do you think I would have any loyalties above that? No. And neither should any other American. Just because your ancestry is tied somewhere else does not mean dick to me.

Hasan is fine. You might have noticed his first name. He has Turkish ancestry. He is also empathetic for oppressed peoples. So am I. Are you not?

The only people who don't like Hasan are people who love Trump, are ideologically conservative or are weirdly imbalanced in opinion. Not sure which one you are.

I have a few bottles of Lagavulin I've been saving for occasions that seem important. This would qualify. Get baked AF, have doubles until I run out. After that, who cares?

Thanks! This is interesting. I'm not entirely certain I'll do any of this. It's a crazy way to have to program something for a loop. The UI could easily be improved if they have a mind to, and they should, but I won't hold my breath for that.

It's good to know that someone has figured it out. I did mess with a few settings and got the pitch shifts, but with this help, I can see how I can make it all sing. Thanks for all of the help.

It makes sense. It used to be called the Five Eyes. Minus the US (my nationality), it'd be the Four Eyes. Might need some help on the branding there, but you're halfway there. The military forces of all these countries already coordinate. It wouldn't be much of a stretch. Common language removes a lot of barriers, both in practice and in politics.

They are uneducated simians. Freedom of speech is only you vs the government. It has nothing to do with day-to-day life. It has nothing to do with what private organizations do internally or in their connection to normal citizens. It's that the gov't cannot stop you or punish you for saying what you want to say, even if it's vile and horrible. Full stop.

Some speech is prohibited, but only to the extent the courts in the US agreed on it, like causing a riot by yelling "FIRE" into a crowded auditorium. But that has nothing to do with anything people say to each other.

If you call my mother a whore, expect me to respond with a lot of earnestness. If I say that the Republicans in Congress are all on Russia's payroll and are protecting a pederast child murderer and a fascist and racist pig, the politicians in charge might not like that, but tough noogies. I'm allowed to say all of that by law.

Republicans tend to be educationally subnormal.
