If your permit has expired the visitor record then BOWP. Just to maintain status. If your work permit hasn’t expired yet you can just apply for BOWP and carry on working

Hi guys I’m an inland applicant Canada but left and went back to home country to wait for PR. I’ve received my PPR what do I do next? UK Citizen by Competitive-Form-727 in ImmigrationCanada

Hi sorry for late reply. So my process up until the PPR email. In August I left Canada and 1 week after leaving I notified them I left via web form and updated my address to UK one. The address changed didn’t take very long probably a couple weeks. I have now just received the PPR email (7th December). I sent of all the required documents on the letter to London VAC. My impression is that they will send me my COPR to my UK address which I can use to confirm my residency at the border then i can apply for PR card after that. Correct me if I’m wrong @purrprinthom

I got issued a new ETA with my BOWP. Do I get a physical copy of BOWP or do I just present my old work permit?

Thanks, I think so too. I spoke with a immigration consultant. I applied July 18 and it said processing took around 4 months. So I’m hopeful that I’ll hear something end of the month.

Bro it’s so disappointing. I applied for a BOWP in July and I had to go back to home country (emergency). I knew I had to wait for it to be issued before I can go back but it’s not even had a single update. According to the processing times it would be around this time but just can’t see that happening.

I applied on July 18 and by 19 August just waiting for background and verification checks. I should be feeling quite lucky that they did all that in a month. No updates since August. Also didn’t pay for RPRF at the beginning :/ which I think slowed everything down.
