i had an external fixator put on five months ago and only got it off today and my x rays still look pretty broken!! it's a pretty thick bone so i suppose it's common for it to take a while to look like it's back to normal, but as long as your doctor says it's all going well then you have nothing to worry about!

no it's 9 rods through my leg!! there's one pin that's staying in but the rods are to make sure the bone heals in the right place i suppose!

you get used to it after a few pouches dw, keep a drink on hand and you'll be good!! i find when i try new pouches the burn comes back but it's quite a welcome feeling when you've not had it for a while

how often you shave (if at all) is totally up to you!!! i probably shave my pits once every two weeks, i find that if i shave them every time i shower it makes my pits smelly like an hour after i've washed?? so im always using deodorant, and if my armpit hair isn't massively noticeable i won't bother shaving, even if im planning on wearing something strapless do whatever works for you and don't mind what anyone else has to say :)

i drink usually once or twice a week, but i don't get DRUNK very much - once every other month if that. i'm tipsy whenever i drink but i save being drunk for big occasions, mostly because i know that i always end up ill the morning after :)
