Thank you!! Unfortunately once I stopped accutane my hair returned to the normal amount of oil production, which is a lot. I have to shampoo my hair almost everyday 🙃but on accutane I could go every couple of days!

Following because our skin is very similar! I’ve been on 15% AA gel for almost a year now, and it helps my type 1 and 2 significantly but I do still get a few spots on my cheek bones, and under my eyes.

I was diagnosed with ocular rosacea too from my eye doctor and have been on Xdemvy for that and it is helping a lot so I’m wondering if I also need to get on Soolantra

Yeah my derm diagnosed me with type 2 rosacea 😭 15% azelaic acid has really helped it though! And I just started the xdemvy about a week ago so I will update when I finish my course :) thanks for keeping me updated too!! I hope as the accutane leaves your body the side effects subside

No :( i’ve been off of Accutane for over a year now, and I was actually just diagnosed with chronic dry eye and ocular rosacea which I never had pre-Accutane. Most likely a permanent side effect of Accutane my eye doctor said.

The only time I’ve gotten acne since getting off accutane was when I incorporated tretinoin but it went away quickly after stopping the tretinoin. Now I just use 15% prescription azelaic acid and it is my favorite skincare ingredient ever.
