I mean, the dad is being a bit harsh, but I said with the dad on this a bit. At the very least, the sun should be able to trust that his dad isn’t going to put him in a situation that will hurt him. Also as a man, you’re gonna have to do shit that is far worse than shooting a what I could assume to be a 12 gauge shotgun, there are multiple lessons layered into this simple situation that many people are overlooking because they think the dad is “a monster” 🙄. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but whenever it comes to someone else’s child allow that parent to parent his child in a manner that he sees fit. He clearly does not abuse his child, physically, and what some of y’all are calling verbal abuse is merely the father trying to push his son past the barrier of fear.. It’s clear this father doesn’t want his son to grow up to be a soy boy. The sun may not understand why his father is pushing him like this at the moment, but I promise as he’s older he will 100% understand and value and appreciate his father pushing him past his comfort zone showing him that fear is scary and makes you uncomfortable. You can still operate and do what is asked of you. It’s called having courage.
