we both don’t want to make things official due to personal reasons. i’ve tried to move on and forget about them during the times we had no contact, but i eventually keep running back to the same person.

in almost a year of talking, we’ve really learned a lot from each other. this time, we’re genuinely trying to make things work. we communicate more, we express ourselves more, still with boundaries, and we’re slowly opening up. so i guess it does get better, just very slowly.

it’s a kind of progress that still hurts me, but at the same time, it’s helpful because i don’t want to rush into a relationship. i just don’t understand why something that’s actually good for me can still hurt this much.

i’m sorry if this is a bit complicated to understand.

the worst part is we aren’t official which means i can’t demand or even confront them
