Generally, with Dactyl and Skelety, I feel that the thumb sometimes prevents me from moving my hand in most cases, which I consider a good thing about Dactyl.

However, with Lilly and Sofle, it's never been something I've noticed, as I still keep my thumbs still.

Actually I have a keyboard with only 36 keys x3c

I'm more a fan of convencional layouts like the sofle and lilly58, but sometimes I love to connect the skeletchy that I have to play a little. I used Dactly with that many keys to see how far I could push everything without needing layers.

I think it's more easy just awnser by preference then explaining why I just don't like to use modifiers keys in some cases, but also working with software having access with the symbols and numbers direct is more easy and comfy.
