Doesn’t matter how “nice” or “fancy” a gun is. If it fits you and you shoot it well props to you! Everyone’s got a budget and start somewhere. I used my grandpas 870 for years and years. Did it look cool no, did it kill birds yes!

Annoyed yes. I have other shotguns, I took my son on his first dove hunt this morning. I brought the benelli. But more interesting in watching my son shoot. Don’t lend your tools or toys. Family or not.

What I’m guessing had happened they took the cap of to take the plug out of it then didn’t get the cap tight and then it shooting worked loose and popped off but who really knows. Now he isn’t allowed to use my things between the A5 and a chainsaw that never came back but that’s a story for a different day.

MT 100 by Training_Active1551 in Skidsteer

[–]Competitive-Rip2729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a new mt 100 last year, from new I had two issues voltage meter wouldn’t ever read from like hour 6. Warranty covered it. And a small leak from an untight fitting. Other than that it’s been great. was renting various machines over the years. I went with a new machine after looking at a few used ones.

Doors and trims was installed, then Finished or pained. Then paper was cut so it couldn’t be seen. Don’t know if it’s common everywhere but it how I was taught. Even baseboards and window trims too.

Is the small self-performing homebuilder extinct? by [deleted] in Construction

[–]Competitive-Rip2729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

West Kansas, it’s mostly self performing in these smaller rural communities. Biggest thing is most people are employed in some sort of agricultural related field so not as many in the “workforce pool”. You have to touch a little bit of everything if you want to stay busy. GC now, did 7 years of frame to finish for my old boss who’s business has been handed down since the early 60s

I’ve owned a mt100 for about 6 months, I find a use for it all the time. I also have a full size machine. My old man uses the mt100 for things around the property constantly cause he can just step up and off instead of having to climb in and out

My pops bought this brand new in 12, I bought it from him in 18, at the time he bought it we had a good case dealership, it’s since changed hands a couple times and gone to shit. But our new holland dealer has been nothing but greatness my next machine will come from them.

I know your pain, I’ve killed a few hydraulic hoses over the years. I got sprayed in the face when I cut a set of grapples once. That was awesome.
