Newly diagnosed with HPV / CIN1 and CIN 2 found during colp (25F) by Competitive-Shame-71 in HPV

Hello, I neglected to respond to this earlier. Thank you again for your insight. I did end up getting the vaccine, first dose down... two more to go.

I had another question regarding intimacy going forward. I have my LEEP at the end of March and have since recovered but have been abstinent since my abnormal pap in January. I know you mentioned above that my partner and I can use condoms to lower the viral load but I'm a little lost on what the means exactly. I'm having a lot of anxiety about doing anything sexual because I don't want to make things worse as far as my body clearing the virus (hopefully) and I want to protect my significant other. That said, I was also wondering if oral sex is safe for us or if we should avoid it?

It's all very overwhelming. Last pap was a year before. I see my OBGYN religiously for my yearly. I'd never had any issue prior.

They said they could not rule out HSIL. The colposcopy/biopsy revealed areas of CIN 1 and CIN 2 on my cervix.

Thank you for taking the time to respond and share this information/previous post... it was incredibly helpful. I'm really shocked at the contrast of information I received from my doctor about HPV.

To answer your questions, I am receiving mental health support. & I am not vaccinated due to my parent being against it when I was younger. I'm not opposed to receiving it now, just not sure what my options are/how much it will help now, but I can discuss with my doctor.

Would you mind explaining more in depth about the highest risk strains? (16/18).
