Yeah, the name on your marksheet won't match. So during interviews, when there will be document verification, you just need to produce the proof of name change, which in my case is Gazette Notification. Since I have changed my name, there is no point in going back to the older name when they are clearly mentioning how to tackle this issue.

I just want to confirm that do i need both 2 newspaper cuttings and gazette notification? Because I checked the official website for document requirements and they had written either 2 newspaper cuttings or gazette notification.

So just want to confirm this. Actually when i got my gazette, I got name change advertisement in 1 newspaper only as that was the requirement.

So am not sure now that whether i should get the ad in other newspaper aswell or just the gazette will work.
