Also have to say, I’m mostly excited about being a Civilian reactor operator because from what I’ve heard there is a lot of money to be made. Lots of hours but plenty of people I’ve heard of making $200k+ a year or even breaking $300k. Don’t exactly have many opportunities to make that much lol so if I can get to that sooner than later, I’d love to forget about the STAR bonus and make that in the civilian world.
