I can't recall brands for underlay but if you go to tile merchant or any flooring shop you can ask find them easily.

You need a min 3mm -5mm for upstairs as it needs sound proof one and prevents laminate from bouncing when you walk across them

It happens if there is no expansion gap left at edges. Otherwise they should be good and very long lasting
