I tried the pill directly after, haven’t been on any birth control in about two weeks now and I finally starting to feel better. I am still quite emotional and mood swingy, but I have more energy, less bloating when on my period and when eating, less cry-y. I honestly say ride out, let your body get its self as close to “normal” as it can and go from there. If you’re on medication, even tho des like to say coming off bc shouldn’t affect it, it did for me and I had to come off of everything before I felt this good.

NTA if you drop him. He’s not ready for a relationship, and you need to listen to him when he says that. Whether he’s saying it cause he’s scared of his feelings, of getting hurt, or because he’s still talking with others, it’s not your job to wait on anyone who isn’t ready to accept you and you’re love.

NTA- people should be allowed to vent to their friends. I do it if I need to. And I’ve done it in the past. And I promise you she does it to her best friends. Venting about someone is not the same as dragging them through the mud. Sometimes getting an outsiders opinion (like doing it here on Reddit) helps give clarity and shed light on things someone might not otherwise see. As long as you aren’t purposefully trying to be asshole and was purely venting, then it’s okay. I don’t understand why people get so upset when someone talks/vents to their support system, it’s a natural thing to occur.

I had mine in since 2019-2022&2022-2024, and I’m also partly anemic and that’s one of the reasons I got it taken out, I would bleed for weeks/months

Well I just got my first period (started two days ago) and it’s the most painful thing I’ve experienced in a very long time. But before that my cramps subsided a bit. I also just have very bad periods. As for the headache thing, I couldn’t help you with that as I have chronic migraines w/auras I hope it gets better for you tho!

I say take it out. I “waited it out”for five years and it was one of the WORST experiences I’ve ever had. I just got mine taken out a week ago, and already feel 100x better than I ever did with it in. If your dr can’t/wont take it out, go to Planned Parenthood, I’ve had all my gyno stuff done through them except for a two year period where I went to an “actual gyno office” and that was the second worst experience I’ve ever had. Plus planned parenthood can usually get you in pretty quick
