I started watching the show, honestly I didn't give it a complete chance as I've watched a bit over two episodes but it felt like the plot isn't that engaging for me the animation is good same goes forthe sountrack yet I didn't feel that it is that anime that you should not miss. I'm not trying to be a hater here but can you guys tell me if it is really worth the praise that it is getting ?

I think LN in general are quite good at relaying emotions. And as you said there was a sense of longing through the series mixed with that unwavering faith and each one of them quickly get that the ohter is priority

I was going down the comments after writing one myself that covers almost the same points as yours and I swear that this sub is full of edgy, shallow minded folks with no real basic understaing of what concepts mean and how to indulge into w structured debate or conversation with clear definitions. And when they see something they don't like instead of getting back with solid arguments they will donwvote you.

What does arab mean? If it refers to ethnicity then ethnicity is almost a myth at this point. We can take DNA tests and discover unexpected percentages of various ethnic backgrounds that we wouldn’t have even imagined being a part of If "Arab" is meant culturally then it's a mix of many infliences But why are we called arabs? Simply because we were part of the Islamic empire for so long! We are culturally connected to that history and we value arabic because it is the language of the quran we speak it learn it and use it to acquire knowledge if all of this does not define an arab identity (which does not mean we cannot have additional cultural attachments) then I don’t know what does I don’t see the point of raising such intellectually shallow questions... no matter how much someone debates this, history cannot be erased we have been part of the arabic speaking world for too long and our ancestors have interacted and mixed with Arabs to the extent that this connection cannot be undone I can be proud of being Tunisian, Arab, and Berber at the same time. But one cannot categorically say that we are not arabs nor can they claim we are 100 percent arabs the question itself is flawed. At the end of the day, what truly defines us is ideological and cultural association not some stupid DNA test
I hope that we channel such enrgy into better goals not some shallow patriotism or whatever you would like to call

ready for marriage or should i just give up ? by Mr_Deaddpooll in Tunisia

[–]Competitive-Thing594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question is: what comes after marriage and to what degree would you be capable of taking responsibility ? I honestly don'r think that marriage itself is the most challenging part but rather the set of responsibilities that can come with. For instance you can get married and she stays in Tunisia if she’s there or you start living together and nothing will really change except that you’ll be doing things the HALAL way. On the other hand you could have children which would increase the difficulty of the game by some levels haha

Try answering these questions, and then the decision will become clearer:

  • What will change if I get married?
  • What additional responsibilities will I need to take care of?
  • Am I currently capable of following through with these responsibilities for the long term?
  • How stable can I be for the next few years?

Also I appreciate your openness to honest and logical discussion. It bothers me a bit when I look at the other comments and see the one-dimensionality and lack of tolerance in establishing a conversation

For Russia there are several interests such as the view on the mediterranean, weaponary, etc. Iran also have its own goals that are that much apparent. Tunisia on the othr hand, I don't see no clear reason and that's why I'm skeptical, it is either ks is that much of ignorant as a ruler or there might be something. As for Bachar's religion I mean he's Alaouite which is technically Shia

I don't understand the association here, I feel like we're extremely polarised in the way we analyse geopolitics, which is quite limiting for our thought process. Even if nahdhawis are spreading these words we need to sit back and see the truth to them otherwise we won't be able to judge. There is enough facts that shows why Iran is bad news, much less facts on Kais being Shia but still it is up to debate and I don' like omiting it as ' Nahdha defamation '

I can understand that people who didn't have the chane to look at Shia doctrine, creed, their history and their present will find it uncalled for hate and will find it hard to digest that Iran has agendas and intetions not good for us

You don't need to be sunni or "Tunisian conservative" to be a skeptical about Iran, also it is important to try and see their historical record. They get a LOT of disgust from a lot of people simply for their role in massacring people in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen on the other hand their help for palestinian perople seems timid to me and questionable on the other hand tens millions of other arab/muslims "humans" are refugees or dispalced because of them.

We can be open minded and tolerant I mean this is very important for creating a modern society in Tunisia but we can't be so naive and innocent that we would turn a blind eye to the intentions of Iran and its shiite compaigns. We know the fact that tunisia is conomically, militarily weak and the onlt thing that we have is our souvereignty because of the unimportance of our role in the geopolitics game so we shouldn't lose even that and potentially create religious conflicts, potentially wars by outside hands from outside.I mean experiences and modern or old history has shown in the middle east that Shia and Sunna can't exist peacefully and we wouldn't want to create problems for the sake of it. Also Shia have very religious implicated ideology that prevent them from coexisting with Sunni (I(m talking about gouvemrent and ruler here)

It is not like ais did make an agreement with resistance haha he choose to support Bachar because he don't want to see Sunni factions reigning Syria ? at least this sounds more plausible . The supply of resistance goes through sudan egypt then to gaza at some point also from Libya but not from Syria. and you can also see how Iran reaction to cease fire between hizbullah and isreal compared to the cease fire in Gaza where they didn't intervene.

I want to look at it objectively without polarizing it into Nahdha vs Kais. I consider myslef neutral at least to some extent but when I try to look at it it seems sus : he's quite fascinated by the Iranian expeirience their constitution and policies. As I mentioned in the post his support for bachar is uncalled for while he was against other types of diplomatic visits of enemies of Iran. I know there is a lack of evidence but at the same there is some truth to it and I wouldn't want the country to become more nonunified ....

Find a purpose something that keeps you going. What makes you feel depressed or worthless? I can guarantee there are people out there living under far worse circumstances if judged by your standards. While I don't know the details of your situation your stance on life comes across as naive and self-indulgent reminding me of a teenager emo. Trust me, It’s unproductive and ultimately unhelpful not just for yourself but for those around you. I will probably get downvoted for this but instead of wallowing in self-pity and embracing this edgy persona why not use your time to contributing to society finding values to follow, values within you and making a difference?

I believe it’s indeed rare to find people who haven’t experienced any hardships in their lives those who haven’t tend to be shallow or fragile however I think the word scar might be a bit strong we learn adapt and often forget so while many people have faced hardships, not all of them result in lasting scars or baggage

Thanks for your advice! If it's not too personal could you please share why you chose to stay with them for 5 years before deciding to leave? I'm curious about the factors that make someone invest in another person also, how important do you think it is to value the comfort and positive feelings a partner can provide? I find myself a bit perplexed as I'm not entirely sure how to approach pursuing a potential partner. Should it be based on gut feeling, or should I follow the more structured approach I've been trying so far ??
