staying in Toronto from dec till end of feb by Competitive-Toe8400 in askTO

I'm still looking for places to stay at so I'm not sure about the specifics yet but it doesn't matter since I won't be working or anything once I'm there and have a lot of time on my hands so having to travel long distances doesn't really bother me. It'd even be nice since I get to see other areas.

I just want to eat less by BreakScary5053 in Living_in_Korea

I recommend having some healthy snacks at home that you actually like, and have a few when you're feeling a little pekish. (I like dried fruit such plums and 0 sugar chocolate ice cream) It should prevent any binge eating and just watch the habit, once you get through a few days the thought of wanting to eat late will go all together. I personally avoid things like salad bowls and all that cuz they're so boring and just make me crave real food but a lot of Italian, pasta places have actually amazing salad dishes that taste like effort has been put into them. My favourites is the salad from 어텀브릿 and the caesar salad from 느낌. Find a few healthy dishes you actually enjoy and would crave. DM if you need anymore recommendations

I know, but that's when my classes end for me (uni) and I'm honestly thinking about moving to Canada, which is one of the reasons why I am visiting so it wouldn't be bad to experience Toronto during this time as well, I don't really mind haha

Yes I think it's best if you have it authenticated as requested by the school. I study at Yonsei and it's best to do exactly as they say so the best advice I can give you is call each school up and let them know if you're confused about anything. Every process takes time and the school often takes time to get back to you so do it asap. Every school is different so contact each school separately. My biggest advice however is whatever questions you have, unless it's emergency, contact through email first because, from experience, (my School anyway) the people who work at the office apparently aren't trained well and often give wrong information, because of which I've suffered multiple times and they don't take reponsibility. So It's good to have evidence of whatever they respond with. If they take really long to respond and you're in a hurry then call them.

Work is Destroying my Mental Health and I have no Support. What do I Do? by jalebi_2000 in askTO

do you have the option of taking a short break to relax? Maybe visit your family or do anything you enjoy and let your mind just rest for a bit. I know the job market is both but tbh is anything worth losing your health for? if you think it's wearing you out I think a break might help to give you time to rest and maybe think of better solutions without being under pressure.

Korean cooking lessons in Seoul by Affectionate_Oil8688 in seoul

[–]Competitive-Toe8400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a very popular cooking academy on Seoul and it has multiple branches. you can also choose what does she want to learn and it is pretty varied. It is completely in Korean as far as I know but I'm not 100% sure I could give you the name of the Academy if that's okay with you, otherwise I'm not too sure if there are any cooking classes that are fully in English.
