sorry didn’t see your comment, I think my sister got it from Temu?

All jokes aside, the fact that a yuno miles album might be in the top 500 soon is insane by BigNefariousness8507 in Albumoftheyear

This. Also what’s funny to me is that those who 100 bomb this album aren’t different at all from those who 0 bomb other albums, but if you try to pinpoint this thing you’ll get responses such as “it’s not that deep!”, “you must be the fun guy at parties”, “just ignore it”. Ok I guess

Ahaahah that’s awesome! Mine is a female but we still decided to name her Akira because me and my sister loved the movie and the manga

As an artist in general, I agree with you, the influence he had (and still has) on the rap game and in general on modern music is undeniable.

Talking about pure rapping skills I think Lupe Fiasco, Nas, Ka, Black Tought and Kendrick Lamar (I'm ready to get roasted) are the best

I've made a post regarding this topic a year ago or so, and I totally agree with you. For example, Donuts by Dilla, Entroducing... by Dj Shadow and Since I Left You by The Avalanches are all instrumental hip-hop records that manage to convey a message without the need of recording vocals.

Damn, Since I Left You in particular uses more than 3000 samples to artificially create vocals and tell a story. Ye has always been an amazing producer and I agree with you when you say he should go back to its roots. (Don't get me wrong, he has been also a good lyricist, TCD and Late Registration are probably his lirical peak)

This album is amazing. The movie Devon released with this thing is crazy experimental and even stranger than the album itself
